An invitation for local women (or anyone visiting):
Mark your calendar for Friday, February 23 from 8:00-10:30am for “Wellie Coffee,” a time for faith and friendship. While you’re at it, mark all last Fridays in 2018.
What is “Wellie Coffee?”
While we’d like to say we found a coffee company to roast beans for us at cost to sell as a fundraiser … yeah, no. Really, Wellie Coffee is just a fun title because we like to throw around the word Wellie. 🙂 Essentially, this is a time to gather at the Schiltz home in West Des Moines (6777 Reed Lane), pray the Rosary as a group, and enjoy fellowship. We are continually working toward building this ministry into a school of prayer, and this monthly gathering is one tool to help us in those efforts.
Date: Friday, February 23
Location: 6777 Reed Lane, West Des Moines
8:00 – 9:00am: Fellowship
Coffee and cream provided, as well as hot water and tea. Children most welcome; there will be a coloring station with saint coloring sheets, a basement full of toys to share, and a sensible snack available for them.
We are looking forward to our time together rooted in faith and friendship. This is an informal gathering; please invite a friend or neighbor along if you wish. A HUGE thanks to Sarah Schiltz for sharing her gift of hospitality and welcoming us into her home for this special time.

Author: The Well
The Well is a vibrant women’s ministry rooted in prayer, evangelization, and charitable action. We exist to gather women together, to celebrate spiritual friendships, and to build up the local Catholic community. Just as the Samaritan woman encountered Jesus at a well, we pray the work of this ministry opens doors to a deeper and sustained encounter with Jesus for those who gather with us.
